Oxygen Cylinder BD is committed to delivering medical oxygen cylinders, respiratory devices and other medical equipment safely and efficiently. This Delivery Policy explains our delivery procedures, charges and customer responsibilities.

1. Delivery Areas

We provide delivery services within Dhaka and selected locations across Bangladesh. Delivery availability depends on the customer’s location, product type, transportation requirements and courier coverage.

Certain products, including filled oxygen cylinders and large medical equipment, may not be suitable for standard courier delivery. Our representative will confirm whether delivery is available to your location.

2. Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed after our representative verifies:

  • Product name and quantity
  • Product availability
  • Customer’s name and telephone number
  • Complete delivery address
  • Delivery charge
  • Payment method
  • Any installation or setup requirements

Providing incomplete or incorrect information may delay delivery.

3. Estimated Delivery Time

Estimated delivery time depends on product availability, delivery location, traffic, weather and transportation conditions.

  • Orders within Dhaka may qualify for same-day or scheduled delivery.
  • Orders outside Dhaka may require additional time.
  • Large equipment, special orders and products requiring installation may take longer.
  • Urgent oxygen-delivery requests are subject to availability and location.

All delivery times are estimates and will be confirmed by our representative. Oxygen Cylinder BD cannot guarantee a particular delivery time when delays are caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

4. Emergency and Urgent Deliveries

We will make reasonable efforts to prioritize urgent oxygen-cylinder and respiratory-equipment requests. However, our delivery service is not a substitute for an ambulance, hospital or government emergency service.

In a life-threatening medical emergency, please contact the appropriate emergency service or visit the nearest hospital immediately.

Additional charges may apply to urgent, late-night, holiday or special transportation requests. These charges will be communicated before the order is confirmed.

5. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges may vary depending on:

  • Delivery location and distance
  • Product size and weight
  • Transportation method
  • Urgency of delivery
  • Installation or setup requirements
  • Floor access, lifting requirements and elevator availability
  • Special handling requirements

The applicable delivery charge will be communicated before order confirmation. Additional charges may apply if the delivery conditions differ significantly from the information provided by the customer.

6. Payment

Available payment methods will be confirmed when the order is placed. Full or partial advance payment may be required for:

  • Products delivered outside Dhaka
  • Specially ordered products
  • Large medical equipment
  • Rental equipment
  • Urgent deliveries
  • Installation or setup services

Cash on delivery may not be available for every product or location.

7. Delivery of Oxygen Cylinders

Medical oxygen cylinders require careful transportation and handling. Delivery depends on cylinder availability, capacity, refill status, condition and destination.

Customers must ensure that the cylinder can be stored upright in a secure, well-ventilated location away from heat, flames, sparks, oil, grease and smoking areas.

Oxygen must be used according to the instructions of a qualified healthcare professional. Our delivery personnel do not provide medical diagnoses or prescribe oxygen-flow rates.

8. Delivery of Large Medical Equipment

Hospital beds, wheelchairs, oxygen concentrators, CPAP or BiPAP devices and other large or specialized equipment may require additional handling, assembly or installation.

Customers must inform us in advance about:

  • Building access restrictions
  • Floor number
  • Elevator availability
  • Narrow entrances or stairways
  • Parking or security requirements
  • Any other condition that may affect delivery

Additional labour, transport or installation charges may apply.

9. Receiving and Inspecting Products

The customer or an authorized representative should be available to receive and inspect the order.

Before accepting delivery, please check:

  • Product name and quantity
  • Packaging condition
  • Visible damage
  • Included accessories
  • Cylinder or equipment condition
  • Any applicable seal, receipt or warranty document

Any incorrect, missing or visibly damaged item should be reported immediately to the delivery person and Oxygen Cylinder BD. Photographs or videos may be required to verify a claim.

10. Failed Delivery

A delivery may be considered unsuccessful if:

  • The customer is unavailable.
  • The telephone number is unreachable.
  • The address is incorrect or incomplete.
  • The customer refuses the confirmed order without a valid reason.
  • Building access is unavailable.
  • Delivery would create a safety risk.

A new delivery charge may apply when another delivery attempt is requested. Advance delivery charges may be non-refundable when delivery fails because of incorrect customer information or unavailability.

11. Delivery Delays

Delivery may be delayed due to:

  • Traffic congestion
  • Severe weather
  • Road closures
  • Vehicle problems
  • Product shortages
  • Courier disruption
  • Government restrictions
  • Natural disasters
  • Strikes or public holidays
  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer of a significant delay.

12. Changes to Delivery Details

Customers should request changes to the address, schedule or contact information before dispatch.

Once an order has been dispatched, changes may not be possible. Additional charges may apply if the delivery route or destination is changed.

13. Delivery Risk and Responsibility

Responsibility for the product passes to the customer after it has been delivered and accepted, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Oxygen Cylinder BD is not responsible for damage caused after delivery by improper handling, transportation, storage, installation, unauthorized repair or failure to follow safety instructions.

14. Returns and Refused Deliveries

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy.

If a customer refuses a correct and undamaged order after dispatch, delivery and return transportation charges may be deducted from any eligible refund.

15. Policy Updates

Oxygen Cylinder BD may update this Delivery Policy when necessary. Revised terms will be published on this website with an updated effective date.
